From restaurant customers (via owner's use of the app):

- IP address, browser type, device info
- Usage logs and error reports
3. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and operate the myrestro platform
- To send WhatsApp messages on behalf of restaurants (bills, welcome messages, reward notifications)
- To display analytics and reports to restaurant owners
- To process payments via Razorpay
- To improve platform features using anonymised data
- We do NOT sell your data to any third party

5. WhatsApp and Meta Data Processing
myrestro uses the WhatsApp Business API provided by Meta Platforms, Inc. to send transactional messages on behalf of restaurants. Restaurant customers' phone numbers and message content are processed by Meta/WhatsApp in accordance with WhatsApp's Privacy Policy (whatsapp.com/legal/privacy-policy). myrestro does not control Meta's data processing practices.
6. Customer Consent and Opt-In
Restaurant customers receive WhatsApp messages only after providing their phone number directly to the restaurant. Restaurants using myrestro are required to obtain customer consent before sending any WhatsApp messages through our platform. Customers may opt out at any time by contacting the restaurant directly or by replying STOP to any message.
7. Data Controller and Processor Roles
myrestro acts as a data processor on behalf of restaurant owners (data controllers). Restaurant owners are responsible for ensuring they have a lawful basis to process their customers' personal data and to send them WhatsApp messages. myrestro processes data only on the documented instructions of the restaurant owner.
8. Your Rights
Users have the right to:
- Access their personal data held by us
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of their data
- Withdraw consent for WhatsApp messaging at any time
